It was our third time selling at the Unique Show and it feels that the experience has changed so significantly just one year ago. Our booth was nicely placed near the front entrance. We started the morning with some hip hop moves to get us fired up. We thought we weren’t into it, but as soon as they started we just had to get up and dance. We love instructor taught dancing/exercising. The day started with a rush of people eager to see all the new stuff on the floor. It was quite overwhelming cause there is simply just too much good stuff. People making cool shit. Interested spectators walked one by one, with a majority positive reactions. Last year, we got haters and its ok. Haters gonna hate. We were getting a lot of love this time around. It felt awesome. It really amazes us what a variety of people love fanny packs till this day. One awesome customer was the lead singer of The Naked and Famous, Alisa. We recognized her pixie purple hair and her kiwi accent. We played it cool and kindly asked to take a picture and post it on Instagram. She kindly accepted and went on her way with her new fanny pack. Days like that just make me really love what we do.
