10 years ago I blogged on my Xanga almost every single day. I wanted to remember, document and hopefully one day tell my kids the incredible experience I had abroad. I refused to discuss what I wrote with others, so not to create a filter on sharing my thoughts and feelings over the internet. And luckily that worked out and I have 2 years of memories documented, no filter. However, after I returned back to the states I stopped as if I thought my life wasn’t so interesting anymore and less memorable. I still want to remember, share and maybe this can continue to be my outlet to do so just like it was years ago. I don’t travel as much, but since I started last June Avenue Dee has allowed me to live vicariously through my product – shipping to places that make me wish I could just jump in that package with them. Maybe one day Avenue Dee will bring me to those far off places and be able to relive that vagabond life all over again.
