Travel has always been a true passion of ours. With an upcoming trip to Japan and the Philippines last Oct 2013, we made a few fanny packs to bring with us to keep things minimal on the road. One year later it is now a small business managed out of our home in Los Angeles. We luckily documented this trip, so you guys can continue to follow us on our adventures. We chose these destinations because we consider both of these countries home and for very different reasons. From 2003-2005, Dee, our founder, taught English in a small town in Japan with zero knowledge of Japanese when she got there. She ended up having one of the greatest life learning experiences out there and wanted to return. As for the Philippines, Dee is a Filipino-American, whose parents migrated from the Philippines to the US in the 70s to seek better opportunities for themselves. Having been to the Philippines several times with her family, she wanted to explore a whole other region west of Manila in Palawan in a small underdeveloped island town called El Nido. It is now on her top list of beach destinations. Thanks for joining us on this journey.
